"We just began using our Baby-Comp when it arrived, 27 days ago, and I programmed in my last menstration date (I only knew when the last one was, as I've never kept track- shame on me). 4 years ago, we'd conceived our daughter on our first try, but now that I'm 38 and many of my friends are having fertility problems, we figured we might have trouble this time around. "Hi, I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my Lady-Comp fertility computer. I have been using it for over six months. I have always felt insecure with different methods of contraception because of their high failure rate. Each month I would wait anxiously for my period, fearing my method of contraception had failed. I did not want to take the pill, as I experienced many side effects including nausea and weight gain. I also would forget to take my pill every day, and so would have to deal with the effects of doubling up the dosage. I was initially apprehensive about Lady-Comp because I was worried about not being able to be consistant with taking my temperature readings. What I didn't realize was Lady-Comp does the work for you! It wakes you with a soft alarm every morning reminding you to take your temperature. If you wake up early or want to sleep in, no problem, you can take your temperature up to three before or after. I have even forgot to take my temperature on occasion and it has not effected the number of green-lights(infertile days per month) in my cycle. "Hi there, I am in Canada and have been using the Lady-Comp for about a year and a half. I can't say enough good things about it! It is an amazing way to track your cycle as it naturally occurs, without using chemicals. I choose to also keep charts of my cycle (solely because I'm fascinated with it, not because it is required) which I find to be really supportive of all the research that I have done. It's a really easy device to use, you simply take your temperature each morning as soon as you wake up which takes about 30 seconds or so, and after your temperature is recorded, there will be a green, yellow, red, or flashing red light that appears. On the green days sex is fine and you're not fertile, on the red days you should not have sex if you're trying to avoid pregnancy. Some people choose to use a barrier method such as the condom during red days, but that makes the Lady-Comp only as effective as the condom. My husband and I choose to abstain entirely, since we don't want any children yet."

"It just infuriates me that millions are women are using the pill and unbeknownst to them, they are risking their health, sex drive, and future ability to get pregnant, etc....before purchasing lady comp, I asked my GYN about it and they never heard of it and asked me why I was going off the pill. I told them about the pill having an abortifacient effect. She said it does. But of course, I wasn't told that when I went on the pill. I figured everyone is on the pill and it's so convenient. I never considered any other form. Even among Christians, the pill is considered perfectly fine. I've been telling close friends around me about Lady Comp and the pill with its abortifacient effect. It's just a shame that many fertilized eggs are not surviving because of these other forms of B/C. The drug companies are really political and it's sad because it's more about money than women being knowledgeable and healthier."
